Emily DiCesaro is a Senior Design Manager within IBM’s Sustainability Software business unit. She and her design team focus on creating innovative tools that leverage environmental insights and historic data to help predict weather events. Emily has led diverse, global teams across multiple projects, fostering innovation and collaboration to tackle complex challenges. Her strategic vision and keen understanding of market trends have enabled her to spearhead the development of cutting-edge software solutions that empower organizations to measure, analyze, and optimize the impact weather and climate will have on their business.
Her early career saw her contributing to pioneering projects, within the financial industry as well as in the e-conmerce space where she honed her skills in user-centric design and software development methodologies. Emily co-leads the UX for AI guild and has presented at numerous conferences and events, sharing her knowledge and championing AI initiatives. Emily has a BA in Studio Art from St. Olaf College and a MSc in Design and Digital media from Edinburgh University.
