Jon G. Temple is a Design Principal at IBM with over 26 years of experience in UX design, UX research, and human factors. He received a BA from Vassar College and a MA and PhD from the University of Cincinnati and has completed post-docs in HCI and human factors.
As a UX Creative Director, Jon mentors, reviews UX designs, promotes design patterns to solve user problems, and encourages his designers to root their designs in real user needs. He is an active designer and UX researcher as well, taking a hands-on approach to all his projects. Jon holds a second-degree black belt in karate and brews beer on his back porch, just not at the same time.
